A pair of made to measure customized bridal ballet flats in pink and off white linen - I did a lot of experiments for the embroidery, I made different styles of Ls, different widths, different stitches etc… and ended up doing the final embroidery with a fine lace crochet hook that gave me the best control over the letters’ curves.
Very happy with the result, and - I finally had a chance to use my grand-aunt’s (now vintage) tools for making silk lace!
Considering she was a very respected professional fine embroideress and lace maker, I gave all my best to do a good job and honor her.
